1. Introduction

These terms govern the relationship between users and the owner of Sawa Goo. By using this platform, you expressly agree to all the terms outlined below.

2. Nature of the Platform

Sawa Goo is a non-commercial digital platform designed to help individuals share transportation costs. It is not a transport service and does not operate as a licensed taxi or ride-hailing provider.

3. Platform Liability

Sawa Goo acts solely as a technical intermediary and is not a party to any financial or personal agreements between drivers and passengers. The platform is not responsible for any disputes or consequences resulting from such agreements.

4. Privacy & Data Protection

The platform only collects the minimum data required to provide its services: WhatsApp number, origin and destination, and trip date/time. This data is not shared or sold to third parties and can be deleted upon request.

5. Acceptable Use

• Users must use the platform legally and ethically.
• Submitting false or misleading information is prohibited.
• Users must be at least 18 years old.

6. Technical Usage Limits

• Each user may publish a maximum of 5 trips per day.
• The system automatically enforces technical limits to ensure fair usage.

7. User-Submitted Content

All content submitted by users (e.g., trip details, notes) remains the sole responsibility of the user. The platform does not actively monitor or verify submitted content.

8. Account Security

Users are fully responsible for the security of their WhatsApp number and access. It is recommended to enable two-step verification and avoid sharing your number publicly.

9. Prohibited Use

• Using the platform for illegal activities (e.g., unauthorized commercial transport, harassment, discrimination) is strictly prohibited.
• The platform may suspend or terminate accounts engaged in unlawful behavior without notice.

10. Account Suspension or Removal

The platform reserves the right to restrict, suspend, or delete any account at its sole discretion, particularly in cases of misuse or violation of terms.

11. Local Law Compliance

Users are individually responsible for complying with applicable traffic, insurance, and safety laws. Sawa Goo assumes no legal liability for user actions that violate local regulations.

12. Platform Nature & Future Development

Sawa Goo is currently not a registered commercial entity. However, the platform owner reserves the right to:

• Add paid services or premium features in the future.
• Expand service coverage within and beyond the Netherlands.
• Formally register the platform as required by law if necessary.

13. Cookies and Tracking

The platform uses functional and analytical cookies in compliance with GDPR. Continued use of the site implies consent to this policy.

14. Amendments

These terms may be updated at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the platform implies acceptance of the latest version of the terms.

15. Support and Complaints

A dedicated support and feedback form will soon be available on the platform for technical inquiries and complaints.

16. Use and Availability

Sawa Goo is committed to providing a smooth and secure experience, in line with current and evolving technical standards. Users acknowledge that the platform is provided "as is" and "as available", and accept the possibility of occasional interruptions, updates, or unforeseen changes, as naturally expected in any modern digital system. The platform’s team reserves the right to develop, modify, or suspend parts of the service at any time, without incurring any liability for direct or indirect consequences, including—but not limited to—data loss, communication disruptions, or technical factors beyond reasonable control. Continued use of the platform constitutes implicit agreement to these terms and all associated policies.

This policy is written in accordance with Dutch and European Union law (GDPR), and protects both Sawa Goo and its users.
